The camper and caravan company of the Bollenstreek and far beyond, that is De Klerk Campers and Caravans. A company that stands for quality, good advice, service and reliability. In 1964 the business was founded by Jan de Klerk, who had already earned his spurs as an entrepreneur in the rental of cars and cabs. After the purchase of a private caravan, the rental of caravan combinations was soon a fact..
Through a chance contact with Alfred Tabbert, the owner of the caravan brand Tabbert, it was decided to start selling caravans. Competitor Knaus soon came along to act as a dealer for this brand as well. Since then, dealerships for Dethleffs, T@b and Knaus have been added. Since 1971 the company has been located on the Haarlemmerstraat in Hillegom, the main road from Haarlem to Lisse. With the entry of the 3 sons, in the early 1980s into the company, De Klerk Caravans became a family business. Eventually, Ybe de Klerk continued with the business in 1999. Meanwhile, his sons Fabian and Jeffrey are working in the company and hope to continue the business later as well.
Because the people at De Klerk are themselves experienced caravanners in summer and winter, we can provide you with excellent advice. Thanks to the expertise and years of experience, we have developed our own brand of summer and winter tents, for example.
The winter tent originated from a specialty of De Klerk Caravans: winter camping. This is a branch of camping that is becoming increasingly popular. Snug in your caravan at night and back on the slopes in the morning. Especially for families this is more economical than a hotel. To be well prepared for winter sports, we can advise you and check whether your caravan is suitable for this. Sometimes a small adjustment is all it takes to enjoy your "second home" even in winter!
There are plenty of plans for the future at De Klerk Caravans. For example, in the field of damage and repair work, we continue to develop. The increasingly luxurious wishes of today's campers are also closely followed and responded to.
By listening carefully and thinking along with our customers and the good contacts with suppliers, we will certainly remain a progressive company in the future!
